Our Executive Committee comprises experienced practitioners in a wide range of Special Educational Needs contexts.

We are a consultative group and have nominees on the NCSE consultative forum and the NCCA Special Education Steering Committee.

We are the voice of Special Educational Needs management, and we represent special schools and primary and post primary schools with special classes.

We are a recognised partner is the education process, and we lobby the Department of Education, other government departments and statutory bodies for our member schools and BOMs.

We liaise with other primary stakeholder organisations such as the IPPN, Educate Together, An Foras Pátrúnachta, the General Synod Board of Education, ETBI, Muslim Primary Education Board, JMB, and the INTO.
