How to become a member
  1. If you are new please click the "Sign Up" button, complete all the fields and make a secure payment to activate your membership.
  2. If you have a membership account you can login to check your status or renew.
  3. All Memberships expire in September. No pro-rata rate on signup.
  4. Our preferred payment method is online.

Our Membership term runs from the 1st September to the 31st August. The cost is €100 per school. When a school registers staff who are employed in that school can avail of discounted NABSME Events.

Our Membership Benefits

  • We unite, support and advocate for our members.
  • We offer support to new special school principals, and to schools opening new special classes.
  • We consult and survey our members on key matters and use this information to strengthen our voice with the Department of Education and other statutory bodies.
  • We provide comprehensive data protection advice and training for our members.
  • We advise, guide and support our members on any matters of concern to them.
  • We organise support seminars/training for our members based on their current needs.
  • We update our members on new circulars/procedures relating to special education.
