GDPR and Data Protection Training for School Secretaries (face-to-face)

General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR will involve everyone in school to some degree. The aim of this workshop is to raise awareness of GDPR and how it applies to you in your role as part of the school’s administration team.

Learning Outcomes

• Get an introduction to the GDPR.
• Practical understanding of the obligations and legal requirements for schools to become GDPR compliant.
• Reinforce staff awareness of the GDPR, how it impacts on the school and what the school is doing to ensure that it is GDPR compliant.

Facilitator - Mary Moore

Mary is an experienced member of the National Association of Boards of Management in Special Education (NABMSE) team. With a qualification in Data Protection, Mary is well placed to support schools in all aspects of GDPR compliance and practice.
